El colectivo artístico japonés teamLab inaugurará el viernes su nueva muestra digital inmersiva, con efectos de cascadas de luces, lluvia de estrellas y mares de flores, situada en el mayor rascacielos de Japón.
En este auténtico laberinto, creado en el complejo de Azabudai Hills, de 330 metros de altura, más de medio centenar de instalaciones interactúan con los visitantes.
“Nuestro objetivo es llegar a la gente y hacerles reflexionar sobre la vida y el mundo de una forma más positiva”, explica a la AFP Toshiyuki Inoko, director de teamLab. La idea es proponer “experiencias inéditas, mostrando una nueva belleza, hasta ahora desconocida”, añade.
Para este proyecto, titulado teamLab Borderless, “nuestro trabajo se enmarca en la continuidad de nuestras investigaciones pasadas, y a la vez proponemos una nueva experiencia”, detalla Inoko.

Además de las imágenes y los sonidos, las instalaciones pretenden incluir también los sentidos del olfato y el gusto. El té y los helados consumidos en el museo se convierten así en obras de arte que se cubren de flores y hojas.
El ser humano “percibe el mundo con su cuerpo, pero hoy en día nuestra percepción del mundo se realiza a través de la televisión o internet. Queríamos crear una experiencia” que utilice todos los sentidos, insiste Inoko.
